After reading a library book, Sumaya wants to go stargazing in the middle of the day. Why can't we see stars when the sun is out? A simple experiment helps her find out.
The Sumaya Solves It series follows Sumaya, a curious Somali American girl who loves science. Short chapters, full-color illustrations and everyday problems make it a great fit for new and growing readers, and a fun way for kids to see Muslim families like theirs in a story.
