Sumaya's aunt Idman just earned her pilot's license and takes her on a flight. Now Sumaya dreams of reaching the moon, and she has to learn how flight works to get there.
The Sumaya Solves It series follows Sumaya, a curious Somali American girl who loves science. Short chapters, full-color illustrations and everyday problems make it a great fit for new and growing readers, and a fun way for kids to see Muslim families like theirs in a story.
