Sumaya picks a flowering plant as a graduation gift for her cousin, but it starts to droop before the big day. Can she figure out how to save it in time?
The Sumaya Solves It series follows Sumaya, a curious Somali American girl who loves science. Short chapters, full-color illustrations and everyday problems make it a great fit for new and growing readers, and a fun way for kids to see Muslim families like theirs in a story.
